Trading Places Estate Agents Leytonstone

Your local estate agent

Many of you visiting this page may recognise me, whether through Trading Places or from being out and about in our fantastic community.

Aged 15 I entered the world of employment by getting myself a part-time job at the local McDonalds before moving into the property industry, where for over 20 years I have enjoyed helping1,000’s of people move home and begin the next chapter of their life.

My husband and I have grown Trading Places into a recognised and recommended estate agency business. We’re genuinely local people with a lifetime of local knowledge and experience, so when asked the question “What’s it like living here?” we are ideally placed to provide the answers (it’s great by the way, for those who don’t know)

Based in Leytonstone we help people to buy, sell and rent property in Leytonstone (E11), Leyton (E10) Walthamstow (E17), Wanstead (E11), Stratford (E15), South Woodford (E18) and other surrounding areas.

Our values

As a family-run estate agency, operating as an independent company, we are not part of a big chain and can dedicate our personal attention to each and every buyer, seller, landlord and tenant.

We truly care about the service we provide and feel incredibly lucky in having such a brilliant team working with us, who are undoubtedly our greatest asset. Paul Davis, Jamie Gordon, Steve Hunt, Kevin Butler, Judith Jacobs, Steve Randall and our newest addition Sandra Barkauskaite, are all here to help you.

Buying and selling property

We have an experienced property sales team who simply love selling all types of residential property. Whether it be a large double fronted house, a Victorian or Edwardian mid terrace house or a conversion flat, purpose built apartment or an Abrahams maisonette located in and around the Francis Road area, we know them all.

We are friendly with many local businesses, and if you’re looking for associated property services such as surveyors, mortgage advice, property lawyers or removal companies, we can point you in the right direction.

Lettings

Our lettings team specialise in helping tenants and landlords to connect and can offer an abundance of advice for landlords, along with some great information for tenants too.

With all the legislation affecting this aspect of the property sector (147 pieces on the last count), landlords can struggle to keep up, so to make sure they don’t have to we developed our Continual Training and Staff Development programme (CTSD), which has now been running for 12 years.

Property management

Our property management team help landlords by taking away the hassle and complications involved with managing a tenancy 24/7, which can be especially stressful when trying to juggle landlord duties with work and family life.

We assign a dedicated Property Manager to each tenancy, who is there to look after the landlord, their property and of course their tenant. The team are focused on making everybody’s experience a happy one.

What people have to say about us

People often tell us how different we are to other estate agents and it seems our friendly and proactive approach comes as a welcome change to many.

We are proud to have a 5-star rating on Agent Tracker - please read our reviews and ratings. We were recently voted “best agent in London” for customer service, which stands as a testament to all the hard work being put in by the whole team.

Also, see the Trading Places reviews page for more reviews and testimonials.

Why not pop in for a chat sometime, my friendly team and I very much look forward to meeting with you.

All the best,
Jennifer Butler and the Trading Places team
