I purchased this property in July 1988 and lived there for the first 16 years of ownership and rented the property out thereafter. The property is set in a quiet residential street just a couple of minutes away from Leytonstone High Road; this road has a mixture of independent shops restaurants etc. through to the more common branded names such as Tesco and Wetherspoons. Tennis and golf facilities are also close by. During my occupancy of the property and afterwards when I rented it out all necessary expenditure was made to fully maintain the premises as a habitable dwelling. This included a new kitchen, new bathroom suite (approx 2006), re-wiring throughout, works to the roof and a new porch whilst living in the property. I, of course, had numerous interactions with immediate neighbours and other people in the surrounding community all of which were on an amicable and friendly basis.
