"We have lived in this house for 26+ years and lived in Mornington Road/Bushwood since we were children. Our four children have grown up using local schools Davies Lane - which Ofsted have rated as Outstanding. We are selling to relocate and be closer to the family and hope to have new neighbours just like the ones we have now, who on both sides are long term residents also.
We had a new kitchen fitted last year we love the corner pantry, cupboard and worktop space! New guttering and UPVC soffit boards were fitted in 2012 by Anglian, (means less maintenance!), and Timberland Engineered wood flooring was laid in 2012 in the through lounge and hallway, which is still under guarantee.
New gates and fencing are being fitted to the rear of the property, and our future plans would have included a new patio as part of a garden redesign project, renovation of the windows sills at the back of the house and the front garden and pathway needs some work.
Our garden is probably our most favourite feature, in which we have hosted many family barbeques over the years. We have terrific views, and it's also worth mentioning the easy access to Wanstead Flats and the Forest.
We are in a very convenient location 5 minute walk to Leytonstone's Central Line tube station, giving easy access to Westfield, Olympic Park, City and West End; also Stratford International Rail Services, City Airport and National Rail Services. Used frequently by us for visiting relatives. We also enjoy convenient access to M11, M25 and A12.
Leytonstone High Road/town centre has a 24 hours Tesco supermarket, Sainsbury's are also present in the area, plus there's a family run (extremely helpful and friendly) pharmacy; along with Costa and a number independent coffee shops and restaurants. The excellent family friendly pubs include The Red Lion and The Birds.
We are located within the Bushwood Area Residents Association (BARA) territory, and there are plenty of social activities, groups, local information and local trade/business discounts on offer to BARA members".
