We have loved living in Leytonstone over the last four years and plan to stay in the area with our next purchase. The flat has been great, bright and airy and super convenient! The location has been prefect for us - a short walk from the centre of Leytonstone, the underground station, Epping Forest and Wanstead village.
The off-street parking has been very convenient and we've loved having our own sunny garden at the back. We've planted a wider range of plants since we've lived here and it's great to be outside in the summer. We recently had the wall around the patio rebuilt, so it looks a lot smarter. When we first bought the flat the kitchen was looking very tired so we had the whole thing rebuilt, including a new floor, so it looks a lot brighter and more modern. There's a really good buzz about the whole area and everyone has been really friendly. There is always seems to be something happening and we've looked forward to the various arts and music festivals that take place each year. Having just been awarded the title of London's first Bough of Culture, it should make living in Waltham forest an even more exciting place to be in the coming months. We couldn't have asked for nicer neighbours, both in the flat above and to either side in the street. There are lots of pubs and cafe's to suite all tastes nearby in both Leytonstone and Wanstead. The Luna Lounge has been one of our favourites, with free live music seven days a week.
